Drive begins to recruit 1,200 volunteers for 2010 Building on Faith and Thrivent Builds projects

Habitat for Humanity volunteers do so much more than build houses. Building on Faith and Thrivent Builds depend on a few dozen special volunteers to make sure these campaigns are a pleasure for everyone.

Please sign up to be one of the following:

• Crew leader or house leader. Crew leaders and house leaders complete training in leading crews of volunteers on the home construction site. Habitat for Humanity will train you and your commitment will be as little as one or two days a year. To learn more, click [ here ] .

• Event volunteers. Event volunteers plan and manage events like Building on Faith Week, Building on Faith Sunday, and home groundbreaking and dedication ceremonies. Learn more about these opportunities by clicking [ here ] .

• Partner Family Task Force. The Partner Family Task Force is a team that refers candidates for homeownership to Habitat for Humanity’s board of directors and supports those families through the process of applying and preparing for homeownership. Learn more by clicking [ here ] .
