What is a ReStore?:  ReStore is THE place to come for quality, reasonably-priced new and gently used building materials, furniture, appliances, lighting fixtures and furniture.  We accept donations and re-sell them to the public at bargain prices to support the Habitat mission of eliminating poverty housing.

Donation information:  Donations: In-kind donations can be new or used, in good repair saleable condition. All donations are tax deductible, with a receipt provided.  It is the donor's responsibility to value the donation. Acceptable Donations Include:  Appliances, plumbing and bathroom fixtures, cabinets, lighting fixtures and fans, electrical supplies, new carpeting, drywall sheets, doors, flooring materials, latex paint, new and gently used home/office furniture, lumber/plywood/trim in minimum 8 foot lengths, tools, and windows.  Items Not Accepted Include:  Clothing, bedding, dishes, glasses, household chemicals, jewelry, toys, books, magazine, office cubicles/dividers.

THE ReStore DRIVER MAKES THE FINAL DETERMINATION AS TO THE ACCEPTABILITY OF A DONATION.

Deconstruction information:  Deconstruction:  Deconstruction is hand dismantling of salvage portions of rooms or buildings for recycling through the ReStore. Examples are cabinets, doors and windows, sinks, toilets, plumbing fixtures, and lighting fixtures.  We offer experienced, insured crews with references.  To schedule a deconstruction, please email  [ email ] or call Andy Andersen at 313-231-2032.
