Greetings!
Happy New Year 2011 and welcome to a new decade of volunteerism. Thank you for your partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County (HFHOC). We look forward to working with you on our mission of providing affordable housing to low-income families of Oakland County. As you may be aware, at HFHOC you are able to volunteer in many different ways. We currently have 30 Volunteer Teams we are recruiting for  that are listed to the left. We are looking for 1-2 Leaders in Training (LIT) to help fulfill Habitat Oakland’s mission.  If you want to be a Team Leader you can forward me your resume or answer the questions below and forward them back via email or  fax me them at the contact information listed below. Please answer the following questions:
1. Do you have leadership, event planning, human relations skills?

2. Do you have skills in the specific team you want to lead?

3. Can you dedicate 6 months to 1 year to the Team Leader position?

4. Would you like use the team leader position as a possible internship position? If so, can you provide a resume, participate in an interview and provided internship documentation?

5. Are you able to participate in training to learn more about the team leader position?

Affiliate Operations-Related Team: Building & Grounds, Family Selection, Speakers’ Bureau,Partner Family Engagement,Youth Engagement, Grant Writing & Research, Office Maintenance, Newsletter, Technology.

Construction-Related Teams: Landscaping, Site Host, Green Building, Construction, Construction Leadership Training, Warranty.

ReStore-Related Teams: Cashier Pricing, Showroom Organization, Warehouse Assistance
