Putting Faith into Action
Habitat for Humanity Oakland County’s Rock the Block movement combines homeowners in targeted areas, Habitat volunteers through corporate, civic and faith partnerships, community sponsors and home preservation projects into high-energy community revitalization events.
Under the guidance of Habitat Oakland County’s construction staff, faith sponsors and volunteers complete exterior home repairs, weatherization, cleanup, and other beautification projects such as porch staining, house painting, gutter cleaning, yard cleanup, and landscaping.
Habitat Oakland County is inviting local faith leaders to join this movement in neighborhood revitalization and work side-by-side, to strengthen our community through collaboration.
