Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County will host a community Meet & Eat for residents in the South West Evergreen neighborhood in Southfield on Saturday, June 24 from 12 p.m.-2 p.m. at St. Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Church, 21931 Evergreen Rd, Southfield, MI 48075.
This free event provides an opportunity for neighbors to get to know Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County and the various programs that are available. Residents can also apply for the Rock the Block program which provides minor exterior home repairs for those in need in the neighborhood.
In addition, residents can obtain information on a variety of topics, including: homeownership opportunities, financial counseling services and volunteer opportunities.
The event is free and open to residents of the neighborhood. Join us for lunch, fun games of bingo cash and prizes.
