My Habitat Clarkston Community Impact Weekend

What is My Habitat Clarkston Community Impact Weekend?

My Habitat Clarkston is a grassroots movement of Clarkston-area residents, community organizations, churches and businesses committed to building a better “habitat” for all by collaboratively and voluntarily participating in community-based service projects and ensuring that no one is without resources to serve or be served.

Under the guidance of Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County, My Habitat Clarkston volunteers complete minor exterior home repairs, weatherization and cleanup activities such as porch repair, house/porch painting, gutter cleaning, yard clean-up and landscaping. My Habitat Clarkston completes the majority of their projects during their Community Impact Weekends, which involve many simultaneous projects taking place over a two-day period in the Clarkston and surrounding area.

My Habitat Clarkston traditionally hosts 2 Community Impact Weekends a year – the last full weekend of April and the first full weekend of November.

My Habitat Clarkston Community Impact Weekend Fundraiser

Community Impact Weekend is your chance to get involved, make a difference, and make our community a better place. Volunteers work on projects that serve area families, senior citizens, those with special needs, non-profit organizations, food pantries, our local schools, and many others in Clarkston and the surrounding areas in the spring and fall. Donate here to help support this amazing local effort.
