My Habitat Clarkston – Impact Weekend

What are My Habitat Clarkston Impact Weekends?

My Habitat Clarkston is a grassroots movement of Clarkston-area residents, community organizations, churches and businesses committed to building a better “habitat” for all by collaboratively and voluntarily participating in community-based service projects and ensuring that no one is without resources to serve or be served.

Under the guidance of Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County, My Habitat Clarkston volunteers complete minor exterior home repairs, weatherization and cleanup activities such as porch repair, house/porch painting, gutter cleaning, yard clean-up and landscaping. My Habitat Clarkston completes the majority of their projects during their Impact Weekends, which involve many simultaneous projects taking place over a two-day period in the Clarkston and surrounding area.

My Habitat Clarkston hosts 2 Impact Weekends a year- the last full weekend of April and the first full weekend of November. This Impact Weekend will take place on Saturday, April 27th and Sunday, April 28th. Applications for Spring 2019 are now closed. Fall Impact Weekend Applications will open September 2019.
