My Habitat Clarkston Impact Weekend

What is My Habitat Clarkston Impact Weekend?

My Habitat Clarkston is a grassroots movement of Clarkston-area residents, community organizations, churches and businesses committed to building a better “habitat” for all by collaboratively and voluntarily participating in community-based service projects and ensuring that no one is without resources to serve or be served.

Under the guidance of Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County, My Habitat Clarkston volunteers complete minor exterior home repairs, weatherization and cleanup activities such as porch repair, house/porch painting, gutter cleaning, yard clean-up and landscaping. My Habitat Clarkston completes the majority of their projects during their Impact Weekends, which involve many simultaneous projects taking place over a two-day period in the Clarkston and surrounding area.

My Habitat Clarkston traditionally hosts 2 Impact Weekends a year – the last full weekend of April and the first full weekend of November.

As a result of COVID-19 and the stay at home order by the Governor, we have decided to CANCEL the 2020 April Impact Weekend.

We are committed to serving the community and ensuring that we can provide the services you need when it is safe to do so. More details to come on plans for the November 2020 Impact Weekend.
