Habitat Oakland County’s Veteran Housing Initiative is our way of responding to the growing number of veterans returning home from service and struggling to access safe housing and support services. This program also is designed to help long-term military families, individuals and spouses with similar struggles.

Our staff has built relationships with veteran support organizations throughout Southeastern Michigan and is working to better serve this population through homeownership, critical home repairs, home modifications and ramps, minor home improvements, financial counseling and support, and hands-on training of basic construction skills.
