Individuals and families throughout Oakland County have turned to Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County (HFHOC) for 20 years to assist them to obtain low-income housing and provide necessary and critical home repairs. An integral part of what HFHOC accomplishes is because of our faith-based partners willingness to supply volunteers and financial donations to extend their own mission.
HFHOC staff invites you to join our Faith in Action Luncheon to learn how your faith organization can empower families and bring your community together for Habitat Oakland County families.
When: Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 11:30 am- 1:00 pm.
Where: Door of Faith Christian Church, 511 S. Sanford, Pontiac, MI 48341
Special guest speaker and director of Global Faith Engagement of Habitat for Humanity International, Rev. Doug Murrell, will be presenting at the luncheon about strategic efforts to build the capacity of Habitat affiliates and national organizations to engage faith groups in its work of eliminating poverty housing.
